The art of (Business) Storytelling

Long ago, a small tribe gathered in a cave. As the sun set, they heard footsteps and cheerful singing. The hunters had returned, and those in the cave began preparing a meal. The hunters sat, stood, and jumped as they told the story of their journey.

The children listened and imagined what had happened. The story inspired them to become hunters when they grew up.

The point was not to announce that the hunt had succeeded. The hunters were right there. The story shared their feelings, thoughts, and solutions. It conveyed a message, influenced people, and persuaded them, gently and naturally.

The storyteller sometimes stood and sometimes sat, imitating the animals, chirping like a bird, and using an axe and a bow to show what had happened. Each telling changed to suit the audience and the message. A good storyteller held everyone's attention. Even when the meal was ready and everyone was hungry, they kept listening until the end. Storytelling has been with us since the dawn of history. Your story is a business story, and a well-told story can achieve its purpose.

What is your story?

As customers and consumers, we want people to speak our language. We help people in organizations find the right story. Nothing is more convincing than a story told well. Since 2020, we have run 25 courses, helping hundreds of participants tell their stories.

We listen to our clients' stories and help them tell those stories well. Much of the course is hands-on workshop practice, including master classes with theater and film actors.
